M&A Associate

As an M&A Associate in Amsterdam, you support deal teams through the full transaction process for SME clients, from analysis and valuation to buyer and seller outreach. The posting describes the role as the first career step toward becoming a dealmaker.

What you will do

• Perform business and market analyses
• Prepare valuations and bid books
• Get to know potential buyers and sellers
• Approach new buyers and sellers
• Build and maintain the Marktlink network
• Draft financing applications and resolve financing issues

• Bedrijfs- en marktanalyses uitvoeren
• Waarderingen en biedingsboeken opstellen
• Potentiele kopers en verkopers leren kennen
• Nieuwe kopers en verkopers benaderen
• Het Marktlink netwerk opbouwen en onderhouden
• Financieringsaanvragen opstellen en financieringsvraagstukken oplossen

What we are looking for

• A completed university degree in finance, or a college degree combined with a finance-oriented master's degree
• Demonstrable affinity with the SME sector
• Strong analytical skills, punctuality and goal-orientation
• Fluency in Dutch and English

• Aantoonbare affiniteit met het MKB
• Sterke analytische vaardigheden, punctualiteit en resultaatgerichtheid
• Vloeiende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels
