Credit Analyst, Japanese Corporate Banking Division (Japanese Speaking)

As a Credit Analyst in the Japanese Corporate Banking Division you help map the credit support stance of parent companies for MUFG's corporate clients across the Netherlands, Germany, Brussels, Vienna and Spain. You work closely with relationship managers and credit analyst teams on annual credit reviews and risk reporting.

What you will do

  • Collect and analyse internal data to identify the parent company's support stance for corporate clients
  • Maintain a flowchart representing the support stance of parent companies with accurate updates
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management and Credit Analyst teams to validate client details
  • Complete risk acceptance criteria check sheets and support compliance monitoring
  • Support the early warning framework through daily review of indicators
  • Prepare monthly reports and meeting materials for the early warning framework

What we are looking for

  • Experience in credit analysis and/or a front office function is desirable
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Fluency in Japanese and English is required
  • Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
