De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is an independent Dutch law firm with roots going back to 1871, when E.N. de Brauw founded the firm in The Hague. Through mergers in the 1980s, including with Westbroek Notarissen and Blackstone, Rueb & Van Boeschoten, it grew into its current form. Today it is the largest firm in the Netherlands by number of lawyers, advising listed companies, private equity funds and financial institutions on corporate transactions, disputes, finance and regulatory matters.De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is een onafhankelijk Nederlands advocatenkantoor met wortels die teruggaan tot 1871, toen E.N. de Brauw het kantoor oprichtte in Den Haag. Door fusies in de jaren tachtig, onder meer met Westbroek Notarissen en Blackstone, Rueb & Van Boeschoten, groeide het uit tot zijn huidige vorm. The firm is organised around a small number of large practice groups, including corporate M&A, banking and finance, dispute resolution, tax and regulatory.
