What PGGM doesWat PGGM doet
PGGM is a Dutch pension executor whose origins go back to a pension fund for the healthcare and social work sector founded in 1969. In 2008 the fund's policy-setting and execution functions were split: the fund itself continued as Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW), while a newly formed cooperative, PGGM, took over asset management and pension administration on its behalf. PGGM invests pension contributions across equities, fixed income, real estate, infrastructure and other asset classes, and also administers pensions and provides pension services to a small number of other Dutch pension funds. In 2024 PGGM took over pension administration for PMT from fellow pension executor MN, expanding the number of participants it serves.PGGM is een Nederlandse pensioenuitvoerder die zijn oorsprong heeft in een pensioenfonds voor de sector zorg en welzijn, opgericht in 1969. In 2008 werden de beleidsvormende en uitvoerende functies van het fonds gesplitst: het fonds zelf ging verder als Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW), terwijl een nieuw opgerichte coöperatie, PGGM, namens het fonds het vermogensbeheer en de pensioenadministratie overnam. PGGM belegt pensioenpremies in aandelen, vastrentende waarden, vastgoed, infrastructuur en andere beleggingscategorieen, en verzorgt daarnaast pensioenadministratie en -diensten voor een klein aantal andere Nederlandse pensioenfondsen. In 2024 nam PGGM de pensioenadministratie van PMT over van collega-pensioenuitvoerder MN, waarmee het aantal deelnemers dat het bedient toenam.

PGGM's head office is in Zeist, and following the 2024 integration with part of MN it also has a substantial presence in The Hague.
