What a.s.r. asset management does
a.s.r. asset management is the institutional investment arm of a.s.r., a Dutch insurer whose predecessor companies date back to the nineteenth century and which took its current form through a series of mergers, most recently combining with Aegon's Dutch insurance business in 2023. It manages investments on behalf of a.s.r.'s own insurance balance sheet as well as external institutional investors, with particular strength in real estate, where a.s.r. real estate has invested for institutional clients for well over a century, and in Dutch residential mortgages. The business also covers fixed income and other real asset strategies such as infrastructure. a.s.r. is listed on Euronext Amsterdam.
