What Van Lanschot Kempen does

Van Lanschot Kempen traces its origins to 1737, when the Van Lanschot trading and banking house was founded in 's-Hertogenbosch, making it the oldest independent financial institution in the Netherlands. In 2007 Van Lanschot acquired merchant bank Kempen & Co, known for its equity capital markets, M&A advisory and institutional asset management activities, and the combined group adopted the name Van Lanschot Kempen in 2017. Kempen's investment management arm, long known as Kempen Capital Management, was renamed Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management in 2023. The group is listed on Euronext Amsterdam through depositary receipts and focuses on wealth management, investment banking and asset management for private clients, entrepreneurs and institutional investors.
