Law Internship Amsterdam

This traineeship sits within Freshfields Amsterdam's Restructuring & Insolvency practice, which advises companies in financial difficulty, banks and investors on complex, often cross-border restructurings, working closely with the Finance and Litigation teams.

What you will do

  • Work on complex, high-profile national and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters
  • Support enterprises in financial difficulty, banks and investors on strategic insolvency and financing questions
  • Assist on files that combine transactional work with litigation aspects, including WHOA procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Finance and Litigation practices and with Freshfields' international network

What we are looking for

  • A completed master's degree in law with a civil law focus
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English
  • Strong analytical ability and a team-oriented working style
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
