This specialist role at La Gro's roughly ten-lawyer administrative law team in Den Haag, which represents about 24 municipalities as primary counsel, focuses on public order and safety matters such as closures under narcotics law or municipal bylaws.

What you will do

  • Advise municipalities on closures under the Opium Act or local bylaws (APV) and on mayoral powers
  • Conduct appeals and higher court proceedings in public order and safety matters
  • Share knowledge through weekly jurisprudence meetings and mentor junior colleagues
  • Monitor legal developments and translate them into practical guidance for clients

What we are looking for

  • At least 4 years of experience as an administrative law attorney
  • Demonstrable expertise in or strong affinity with public order and safety matters
  • A master's degree (WO level)
  • Advanced analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent Dutch
