As part of Loyens & Loeff's Financial Regulatory team you advise banks, investment firms, payment institutions, insurers, pension funds and fund managers on the regulatory framework that shapes how they do business in the Netherlands.Binnen het Financial Regulatory team van Loyens & Loeff adviseer je banken, beleggingsondernemingen, betaalinstellingen, verzekeraars, pensioenfondsen en fondsbeheerders over het regelgevend kader waarbinnen zij in Nederland opereren.
What you will doWat je gaat doen
- Advise financial institutions on how new and upcoming legislation affects their market access and business operations
- Handle license applications, notifications and registrations with Dutch financial supervisors
- Work on the regulatory structuring of acquisitions and other transactions in the financial sector
- Assist clients during supervisory investigations and prepare internal and client facing documentation
- Financiele instellingen adviseren over de impact van nieuwe en aankomende wetgeving op hun marktoegang en bedrijfsvoering
- Vergunningaanvragen, meldingen en registraties bij Nederlandse financieel toezichthouders verzorgen
- Meewerken aan de regulatoire vormgeving van overnames en andere transacties in de financiele sector
- Clienten begeleiden tijdens onderzoeken van toezichthouders en interne en clientdocumentatie opstellen
What we are looking forWat we vragen
- Legal background with affinity for financial regulatory law
- Interest in advising banks, investment firms, payment institutions, insurers, pension funds or fund managers
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Analytical, precise and comfortable translating regulatory change into practical advice
- Juridische achtergrond met affiniteit voor financieel toezichtrecht
- Interesse in het adviseren van banken, beleggingsondernemingen, betaalinstellingen, verzekeraars, pensioenfondsen of fondsbeheerders
- Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels
- Analytisch en precies, met het vermogen regelgeving te vertalen naar praktisch advies
