As part of Loyens & Loeff's Financial Regulatory team you advise banks, investment firms, payment institutions, insurers, pension funds and fund managers on the regulatory framework that shapes how they do business in the Netherlands.
What you will do
- Advise financial institutions on how new and upcoming legislation affects their market access and business operations
- Handle license applications, notifications and registrations with Dutch financial supervisors
- Work on the regulatory structuring of acquisitions and other transactions in the financial sector
- Assist clients during supervisory investigations and prepare internal and client facing documentation
What we are looking for
- Legal background with affinity for financial regulatory law
- Interest in advising banks, investment firms, payment institutions, insurers, pension funds or fund managers
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Analytical, precise and comfortable translating regulatory change into practical advice
