CMS is recruiting a lawyer for its Corporate/M&A practice in Amsterdam to work on M&A transactions in the energy sector, supporting the transition to renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and battery storage.
What you will do
- Advise on and assist with M&A transactions with a focus on the energy sector
- Support the development of renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar parks and battery storage
- Draft and negotiate energy-related agreements such as power purchase agreements, supply contracts and operation agreements
- Advise on governance, corporate law, contract law and energy law matters
What we are looking for
- 4 to 7 years of experience in a transactional legal practice
- Demonstrable affinity with the energy sector
- The ability to work independently and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels
- Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English
