DAS is looking for an experienced housing law jurist to join its Interne Rechtshulp team in Amsterdam, helping policyholders with legal questions and disputes concerning renting, buying and maintaining a home.
What you will do
- Advise policyholders on housing law matters, including rent arrears, defects and disputes over rental prices
- Guide clients through negotiations with landlords, tenants or housing associations
- Handle procedures before the Huurcommissie (Rent Tribunal) or the courts where needed
- Assess the merits of a case and determine the appropriate legal strategy
What we are looking for
- Experience as a jurist working on housing law or tenancy law matters
- The ability to explain legal issues clearly to policyholders without a legal background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch
- A structured, independent way of working
