DAS is recruiting a legal specialist for non-traffic personal injury claims within its Interne Rechtshulp team in Amsterdam, supporting policyholders injured in situations other than traffic accidents, such as accidents at work or in public spaces.DAS zoekt een juridisch specialist niet verkeers-gerelateerde letselschade voor het team Interne Rechtshulp in Amsterdam, die verzekerden bijstaat die letsel hebben opgelopen buiten het verkeer, bijvoorbeeld op het werk of in de openbare ruimte.
What you will doWat je gaat doen
- Assess liability to determine who is legally responsible for the injury
- Draw up an inventory of the damage, covering both material costs such as medical expenses and loss of income, and immaterial damage
- Negotiate with insurers on behalf of the policyholder
- Litigate before the court where a case cannot be resolved through negotiation
- Aansprakelijkheid beoordelen en vaststellen wie juridisch verantwoordelijk is voor het letsel
- Schade inventariseren, zowel materiële schade zoals medische kosten en inkomensverlies als immateriële schade
- Onderhandelen met verzekeraars namens de verzekerde
- Procederen bij de rechter wanneer een zaak niet in onderhandeling kan worden opgelost

- Experience as a jurist working on personal injury or liability law matters
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build a clear damage claim
- Clear written and verbal communication with policyholders and insurers
- A structured, independent way of working
- Ervaring als jurist op het gebied van letselschade of aansprakelijkheidsrecht
- Sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden en het vermogen om een heldere schadeclaim op te bouwen
- Duidelijke schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatie met verzekerden en verzekeraars
