A&O Shearman's Amsterdam tax practice offers a student internship where you work on real fiscal files from day one, from M&A transactions and real estate deals to financing arrangements and tax restructurings.
What you will do
- Execute fiscal analyses and draft notes on tax questions arising from client matters
- Conduct case law and literature research and attend internal and client meetings
- Work on M&A transactions, real estate deals, financing arrangements and tax restructurings
- Assist with tax procedures and communications with the Dutch tax authority
What we are looking for
- Full-time availability as a student intern
- CV and cover letter, plus unaltered grade transcripts from master's and bachelor's
- Interest in international and domestic tax law, including corporate income tax, dividend tax, transfer tax and VAT
- Willingness to learn in a shared office with qualified attorneys and a mentor
