Wijn & Stael is looking for an associate with 4 to 6 years of experience to work alongside partners Remco Vermaire, Robert van Faassen and Noor Zetteler on financing, security and restructuring matters, including WHOA proceedings.
What you will do
- Draft and amend financing and collateral documentation, and advise on establishing and enforcing security rights
- Guide clients through financing restructuring, via both informal processes and formal WHOA proceedings
- Draft settlement and framework agreements, and represent clients in litigation and court proceedings
- Write advisory opinions and negotiate directly with counterparties
What we are looking for
- A completed Master's degree in Law
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience
- Strong analytical skills, independence and good communication ability
- Fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written, with genuine curiosity to understand the broader commercial context
