This traineeship in Hekkelman's Nature & Environmental Law team involves substantive files from day one, on cases where legal, technical and societal interests intersect, such as housing developments near livestock farms and their odour and environmental impact assessments.
What you will do
- Advise on and litigate complex nature, environment and spatial planning matters
- Work on cases such as housing developments near livestock farms, including odour impact and environmental quality assessments
- Attend court hearings and present oral arguments
- Analyse regulations, technical reports and calculations underlying these files
What we are looking for
- A completed master's degree in administrative law or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills for complex legal-technical questions
- A careful, methodical approach to work under pressure
- Comfort with both advisory work and appearing in court
