Ten Holter Noordam is looking for a senior lawyer for its harbor and transport practice in Rotterdam, one of Europe's major logistic hubs, serving shipping companies, terminals and logistics providers.
What you will do
- Draft contracts, assess agreements and advise on commercial arrangements within national and international logistic chains, including transport agreements, freight forwarding contracts and storage arrangements
- Conduct risk analyses for clients in shipping, terminal and logistics operations
- Guide negotiations for professional parties in the maritime and transport sector
- Represent clients in procedures and arbitrations when disputes arise
What we are looking for
- Extensive experience in maritime and transport law, or a strong background in contract law, goods law and private international law
- The ability to advise and litigate confidently for professional parties in shipping and logistics
- Analytical strength and the ability to translate complex matters into clear, practical solutions
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to build and develop your own client portfolio
