Van Doorne's Financing & Restructuring practice, around 12 advocates, is looking for a (senior) associate with 4 to 8 years of experience covering both lender and borrower perspectives on financing transactions.De praktijkgroep Financing & Restructuring van Van Doorne, circa twaalf advocaten, zoekt een (senior) associate met vier tot acht jaar ervaring, bij voorkeur vanuit zowel het geldnemers- als het geldgeversperspectief bij financieringstransacties.
What you will doWat je gaat doen
- Work on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate financing, project financing and structured finance transactions
- Draft legal opinions and negotiate LMA loan documentation, securities, direct agreements and intercreditor agreements
- Manage financing transactions through to closing, collaborating with Corporate/M&A, Litigation, Financial Regulatory, Real Estate and Notariate colleagues
- Serve as client contact point while contributing to publications and mentoring junior colleagues
- Werken aan acquisitiefinanciering, leveraged finance, vastgoedfinanciering, projectfinanciering en structured finance transacties
- Opstellen legal opinions en onderhandelen over LMA-leningdocumentatie, zekerheden, direct agreements en intercreditor agreements
- Begeleiden financieringstransacties tot en met closing, in samenwerking met collega's van Corporate/M&A, Litigation, Financial Regulatory, Vastgoed en Notariaat
- Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor cliënten en bijdragen aan publicaties en begeleiding van junior collega's
What we are looking forWat we vragen
- A completed master's degree in Dutch law
- Minimum four and maximum eight years of experience as an advocate within banking and finance, ideally covering both lender and borrower perspectives
- Strong knowledge of property law, private international law and/or insolvency law
- Demonstrable experience with financing transactions and LMA documentation, fluent in Dutch and English
- Een afgeronde master Nederlands recht
- Minimaal vier en maximaal acht jaar werkervaring als advocaat binnen banking & finance, bij voorkeur met ervaring vanuit zowel geldnemers- als geldgeversperspectief
- Sterke kennis van het goederenrecht, internationaal privaatrecht en/of insolventierecht
- Aantoonbare ervaring met financieringstransacties en LMA-documentatie, uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels
