Van Doorne's Investment Management practice is looking for a (senior) associate with 4 to 8 years of experience, whether as a lawyer or in a relevant role such as at an asset manager, to advise on alternative investment fund structuring.
What you will do
- Guide asset managers through the structuring of alternative investment funds, with a focus on private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate funds
- Advise on compliance with regulatory requirements, including asset management and sustainability regulations
- Counsel pension funds on discretionary and fiduciary asset management, fund investments and applicable regulatory frameworks
- Act as key client contact point while training and coaching junior lawyers
What we are looking for
- A completed master's degree in Dutch law
- 4 to 8 years of experience as a lawyer, or in a relevant role outside law practice such as at an asset manager
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and/or contract law
- Fluent Dutch and English, affinity with financial regulatory law is a plus
